SUMMARY
Joining us as the Network Support Specialist, you will be in charge of managing all networks and associated systems within the BSE umbrella. Your role involves monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving potential issues before they affect users, and recommending network security measures to protect company data. Moreover, you will provide technical support to employees in the Information Technology department, addressing hardware and software-related concerns.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Perform network administration tasks, including configuring, managing, and fixing network infrastructure components such as firewalls, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and Direct-Attached Storage.
Provide end user support for all computer systems, mobile devices, audio and video equipment, printing devices, tenants, clients, game day responsibilities, and more.
Initiate technical requests from on/offboarding staff for computer/desk moves, administrative management of all accounts, communication systems, inventory management, cable management, connectivity for business applications, and other related technical responsibilities.
Work game day events such as NBA, WNBA, G League, and other scheduled events that may fall on weekends and holidays.
Maintain general understanding of M365, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows & MacOS, network connectivity, asset management, tagging, life cycle management, and deployment services.
Configure, deploy, & support all laptop, desktop and mobile devices and related office software systems.
Maintain desktop and device compliance policies by carrying out company security settings, software settings and user restrictions.
Recommend software policies and test policies put in place by the Director of System Engineering, Information Technology.
Update and maintain information in all technology department databases.
Respond directly to the request/problem or collaborate with an IT department member to determine the most suitable next step for ensuring satisfactory resolution of requests/problem reports.
Be available when needed for system emergencies or other related IT issues for all BSE properties.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING: B.A. in Information Systems or related field required
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Information Systems
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar
Solid grasp of network infrastructure and network hardware including knowledge of network administration, including VLANs, routing protocols, ACLs, and security policies
Demonstrable experience in network support and troubleshooting
An in-depth knowledge of M365 applications and operating systems within the company

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

$70,000-$90,000
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work Environment: Primarily operates in an office setting, but may be encouraged to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends, and holidays upon request.
