To support our growing operations, we are seeking a reliable and physically capable Moving Helper to assist in the safe transportation of our products.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Moving Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in moving, loading, and unloading heavy and fragile items, particularly windows and other construction materials. The Moving Helper will assist drivers and other team members in the safe handling, transportation, and delivery of windows and related products. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe loading and unloading of windows, glass products, and other construction materials.
• Ensure the proper handling of fragile and heavy materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Help secure products in the vehicle, ensuring safe transportation to various delivery locations.
• Work alongside AZ drivers and other team members to ensure smooth, timely, and efficient deliveries.
• Carry and move heavy items, including large window panes and frames, using proper lifting techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in the warehouse and loading zones.
• Inspect products for damage before and after transport and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Assist in the assembly and packaging of products when required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow all instructions from drivers and supervisors to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of products.
• Communicate effectively with team members, dispatch, and customers during the delivery process.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a moving or similar labor-intensive role is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Experience handling fragile items, particularly glass or windows, is a strong asset.
• Basic knowledge of safe lifting techniques and material handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized during high-demand periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure that all items are properly handled and protected.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Physical stamina and endurance to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
