Mobile Focused Developer The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop mobile applications, but to build a system that will modernize federal healthcare? As a software engineer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We need a software engineer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. On our team, youll help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using modern mobile development frameworks, architectural patterns, and tools. Using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, XML, Flutter, Dart, and Agile lifecycle development, youll build and sustain vital mobile applications for the Veterans Administration. Youll analyze the needs and the environment to ensure the solutions youre developing align with current architecture and operating environments while planning for future functionality and enhancements. You Have: 4+ years of experience building Android or iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and XML Experience building cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, including custom UI, platform channel integration, and state management solutions such as Bloc or Riverpod Experience in platform-specific testing technologies such as XCTest, Swift Testing, or JUnit Experience with concurrency tools, including Kotlin Coroutines and Swift concurrency, including Async, Await, or GCD Experience interacting with mobile centric databases such as SQLite Experience with dependency managers such as Swift Package Manager (SPM) or CocoaPods and their Android equivalents such as Gradle and Maven Knowledge of architectural patterns, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, protocol-oriented programming, dependency injection (DI), and modular architecture Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including adherence to SOLID principles, design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and Repository, and best practices for scalable, maintainable, and testable codebases Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: 6+ years of experience in mobile development Experience with CI/CD pipeline development such as Fastlane or Jenkins Experience with Firebase, Google Analytics, and GCloud Services Experience with Python libraries such as pandas, sqlite3, concurrency, and asyncio Knowledge of containerization tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Knowledge of 508 or Accessibility Compliance requirements such as screen reading and voiceover capabilities Bachelors degree in a related field Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
