Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Pembroke Park, FL

Pay Range: $17-$18hr

What's the Job?

• Perform operational and safety checks to ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Review work orders and follow instructions to pull and stage components accurately.
• Utilize FIFO (first in/first out) system to manage inventory effectively.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while complying with safety guidelines.

What's Needed?

• Basic math skills to assist with inventory management.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Must pass in-company forklift driver training and demonstrate safe handling.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform tasks requiring considerable use of arms and legs.
• Strong attention to detail to prevent injuries and ensure safety compliance.
• 2-3 years of Reach Truck Operator experience 
• Bilingual Spanish/English
