Position Summary: The Marketing Copywriter is responsible for developing and executing textual content for both internal marketing and external client education communication materials.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce clear, concise, and engaging content for a variety of communication materials, including enrollment guides, press releases, and web content.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop sales and marketing materials.
  • Participate in content reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency, revise content as necessary until final approval.
  • Actively engage in briefings and presentations, sharing ideas with internal teams and clients.
  • Strategize and interpret data from past projects to define new content approaches.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and processes that improve productivity and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with designers, account management, and project managers to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of client pieces.
  • Ensure all copy adheres to style guidelines and is free of spelling, grammatical, and factual errors.
  • Update and maintain case files/notes in Salesforce and other platforms as required.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance department to ensure materials reflect current regulatory changes and IRS guidelines.

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, creative writing or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience creating, editing and proofing copy in a minimum of two of the following mediums: print, email, web
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and adaptive environment
  • Expert in versatile projects - from long form, headlines and CTAs, to UX copy and copy that drives action
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present solutions and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
