We are seeking a passionate and experienced Electrical Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in various electrical systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. This role is pivotal in maintaining, upgrading, and installing machinery to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production line. You will also have a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset to troubleshoot control systems and implement automation designs. This position requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain, repair, and upgrade existing electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
2. Work closely with production and maintenance teams to understand their needs and provide technical support.
3. Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring all installations comply with safety regulations and standards.
4. Troubleshoot control systems, identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
5. Implement automation designs to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
6. Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
7. Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge, solve problems, and improve processes.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical systems and machinery.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role.
3. Proven experience working with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
4. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot control systems and implement automation designs.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with production and maintenance teams.
7. Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to machinery installation and maintenance.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
10. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle and operate heavy machinery.
