What you’ll do on a typical day: Support the planning of internal events and communications, including Town Halls, event invites, surveys, and presentations Draft content for internal memos, site playbooks, posters, signage, and videos Create and distribute internal emails and campaigns via Poppulo Support the development of communications plans, including identifying industry events, speaking engagements, and awards Track the effectiveness of external and internal communications through metrics and analytics Maintain media distribution lists and research media targets and relevant reporters Compile media briefing documents; and distribute daily news coverage Source content to share with a variety of audiences Work with business leaders, sites, and regions to identify stories and data to share externally What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you’ll need: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent related work or military experience 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in Communications or PR experience Ability to develop strategic plans and the necessary execution Solid interpersonal and management skills with a proactive nature and hands-on approach Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a strong familiarity with the Associated Press writing style Be eager to learn and adapt to new tools for communications Have a global mindset and understanding of different cultures It’d be great if you also have: Experience with large global organizations and collaborating with business leaders Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration Ability to work quickly and under pressure in a real-time, global environment We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
