ANNOUNCEMENT

Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the part-time SWIC Educational Employee position of Mailroom Clerk.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position performs mail collection, sorting, processing, and delivery following explicit instructions and procedures. Some outdoor work is required. Driving is required. Work is reviewed by supervisor through observation of operations. Assistance is available when unusual matters arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School graduation or GED required.

2. Previous office work experience preferred.

3. Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions required.

4. High degree of mobility required with the ability to lift and carry 55lbs short distances.

5. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

PAY AND HOURS

$15.30 per hour, up to 28 hours per work week.

WORK LOCATION

Belleville Campus with deliveries district-wide.
