Hibbs ElectroMechanical, an expert in diagnosis, repair, sales, and service of motors, drives, controls, and other electromechanical equipment, is seeking a Machinist for 2nd and 3rd shift to join their skilled team in Madisonville, KY.

2nd shift: 3pm- 11pm

3rd shift: 11pm- 7am

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parts and properly fill out Machine Data Form.
  • Make working prints/sketches of damaged parts.
  • Set up the Positive Stop.
  • Operate Manual Boring mill controls.
  • Operate a Knee mill.
  • Sleeve various fits.
  • Perform electroplating.
  • Operate a Manual Indexing Head.
  • Turn and undercut commutators.
  • Perform Plasma Cutting.
  • Perform layout and fabrication.
  • Perform Press work.
  • CNC Programming (Proofing).
  • Set-up and operate CNC lathes and mills.
  • Cut splines.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience with manual lathes, mills, boring mills and other manufacturing tools
  • Skills required for manufacturing or repairing parts and machine components from blueprints
  • Proficient with precision measuring instruments
