Job Title: Dialysis Tech
Location: Mauston, WI
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift/Schedule: (3) 12-hour shifts - Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3am-3:30pm
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week

• The Dialysis Technician assists in providing hemodialysis to patients by; preparing dialysis machines, cannulating patient access and initiating/discontinuing treatments.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Evaluate patient access before cannulation each treatment.
• Setting up and tearing down dialysis machines in safe and timely manner.
• Documents necessary data for each patient every treatment.
• Monitor patients closely during treatment for adverse reactions and reports to nurse accordingly.
• Obtain lab specimens as ordered.
• Attends daily huddles and monthly meetings as scheduled
• Perform other nursing duties as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CCHT certification required
• BLS certification required.
• 6 months of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Minimum Years of Experience:  Less than 1 year
EMR Used:  Meditech
