JOB DESCRIPTION

LEASING AGENT

Reports To: Property Manager

Job Type: Full Time

Hours Per Week: +40 hours

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for assisting with the leasing process, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations within the property.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Conduct property tours for potential tenants
• Assist in the preparation of leasing agreements and renewals
• Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants
• Maintain accurate records of property listings and leases
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs
• Collaborate with property management to ensure tenant satisfaction
• Utilize knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations in leasing processes

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Experience in property leasing or related field
• Proficiency in office and data entry tasks
• Knowledge of facilities management and legal administrative procedures
• Ability to negotiate leasing terms effectively
• Familiarity with property management software is a plus
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
• Understanding of laws governing property leasing
