Key Responsibilities: Meeting with clients, and taking instructions Review and analysis of records Drafting written communications to clients Briefing medical experts, and allied health professionals Attending court for procedural hearings Briefing and liaising with barristers The experience we are looking for We are looking for a lawyer with strong client service focus, personable approach, and commitment to social justice. You will ideally have 3+ years PAE; however, if you have a strong desire to forge a career within this space, we want to hear from you. In addition, you will have: A valid practising certificate; Prior experience working within a Personal injury, Medical Negligence or Litigation environment; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships and trust; An ability to work independently and as part of a team; Excellent organisational skills, with high attention to detail; Excellent time management skills, and commitment to drive matters to resolution in a timely manner; A strong knowledge of the relevant procedural rules relevant to personal injury practice in Victoria; The ability to speak to clients from different backgrounds; A solutions-focused outlook with a proactive approach to deliver quality outcomes.
