Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Landscaper to join our team! A Landscape Technician provides basic landscaping upkeep for Lion Lawn Care customers which are residential and commercial properties including but not limited to apartment communities, rental homes, and mobile home parks. Must have a valid GA drivers license/GA ID and reliable transportation.

You will maintain grounds by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, edging, string trimming, blowing, planting, raking, sod laying, and sprinkler repairs with the goal of creating beautiful and well-groomed outdoor spaces for our customers.

You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a landscaper is preferred and a positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
• Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as riding mowers, push mowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsaws
• Gather and remove litter
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications :

• Basic landscaping knowledge: Mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing, trimming, and pine straw/mulch dispersal. Planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and laying sod. Prior landscaping/grounds keeping experience is preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of both manual and power lawn care tools including mowers, edgers, blowers, weed eaters, chain saws, trimmers, shovels, shears, rakes, and axes.
• Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper preferred (please provide reference)
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time
• Willing to work in all weather elements
