Job Overview:
NorthPark is seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Manager to oversee all aspects of landscaping and ground maintenance to ensure the aesthetic beauty, health, and safety of NorthPark Center. This role will involve managing the Landscape team, coordinating landscape projects, and maintaining high standards for the center’s appearance.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in landscaping, landscaping equipment operation, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead the landscape crew and assist the Landscape Director
• Delegate tasks and manage daily schedules to ensure efficient and effective landscape operations
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Oversee the maintenance of the landscaping in all interior and exterior areas
• Ensure consistent mowing, trimming, edging, and seasonal care for plantings, flowers, trees, and shrubs
• Manage irrigation systems to maintain healthy landscapes while minimizing water consumption
• Address any issues related to pest control, turf health, and soil quality
• Execute landscape improvement projects, including plant installations, seasonal displays, and aesthetic enhancements
• Collaborate with other departments and external contractors for large-scale projects
• Ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary constraints
• Assist in the development and management of the landscape department’s budget
• Monitor and control inventory levels for landscaping materials, tools, and equipment
• Recommend purchasing decisions based on needs and budget limitations
• Promote eco-friendly practices, such as sustainable plant selection, water conservation, and waste reduction
• Implement best practices for organic lawn care and environmentally responsible landscape management
• Ensure all landscape activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and NorthPark’s policies
• Maintain and enforce safety protocols for the landscaping team, including equipment usage and chemical handling
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while working closely with NorthPark guests
• Address any concerns or requests from members related to the landscape and grounds
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in landscaping, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of landscape maintenance
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using landscaping equipment and technology, including irrigation systems a plus
• Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices a plus
