Position Summary The Cell Therapy Drug Product function of the MSAT is seeking an intern to serve as a technical support for cell culture and harvest activities related to the production of CART products at the New Jersey MSAT Laboratory. This position is highly cross-functional, building collaborations with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, Process Development, Analytical, and Global Regulatory Sciences. This role will report to a Senior Engineer withing the MSAT Lab group. Key Responsibilities Assist in Design of Experiments (DoE) and execute experiments related to cell culture, cell harvest, and media analysis using full-scale or scale-down models Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to executed experiments Work aseptically in a biosafety cabinet Assist in preparation of protocol studies and reports to support GMP manufacturing activities Embody the BMS behaviors and embrace the culture with BMS and the Cell Therapy Technical Operations Organization Qualifications & Experience Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM field (e.g. chemical engineering, biology, or equivalent) Practical knowledge of the technologies related to cell culture and bioprocess engineering Interest in hands on laboratory work and experience in working in a biologic lab setting Interest in assessing scientific technologies and their applications in the Cell Therapy industry Organizes and presents data for internal and external groups Effectiveness in both team environments and as an individual contributor with supervision All candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire.
