We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position where you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our company. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and various other financial operations. You will be a part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork. Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
3. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
4. Analyze financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality and service.
5. Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments to ensure timely processing.
6. Coordinate with the financial team to complete annual audits.
7. Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
8. Work closely with the financial management team to streamline procedures and improve operational efficiency.
9. Ensure compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations and laws.
10. Develop strategies to improve financial health and provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
5. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is a plus.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of financial statements.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy, even under pressure.
