$18.00 per hour + commission

Job Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you will focus on cleaning, inspecting, and ensuring the optimal function of residential heating and air conditioning systems. What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems, such as:
• Changing filters
• Cleaning coils
• Inspecting and tightening electrical connections
• Checking and adjusting refrigerant pressures
• Checking and adjusting gas pressure on forced-air gas heating units
• Cleaning and inspecting condensate systems
• Conducting visual, auditory, mechanical, and electrical inspections
• Performing minor equipment adjustments and repairs
• Utilizing hand tools, test meters, and refrigerant equipment for diagnostics
• Maintaining a consistent 40-hour workweek, with typical hours from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some seasonal fluctuations.

What You Need To Succeed

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Preferred:

• Knowledge of low and high-voltage electrical systems
• Previous experience in HVAC or related mechanical/electrical work
• A commitment to teamwork and flexibility for potential promotion to the Service Technician role
