Description of the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, common areas, and other designated areas of the lodge.

Responsibilities:

• Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and ensuring they are properly stocked with amenities
• Changing bed linens, washing and folding towels
• Removing trash and replenishing supplies in public areas
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
• Assisting with laundry services when needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
