Salary Range: $26.00 - $42.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Histotechnologist for a 3rd shift position to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in performing histological procedures to aid in diagnosis, research, and instruction. You will prepare tissue samples for routine microscopic analysis, maintain and operate laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform histological procedures to prepare and analyze tissue samples for microscopic evaluation.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and institutional procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in quality assurance, safety, and compliance programs.
• Investigate, document, and communicate resolutions for problems, needs, or complaints.
• Carry out area-specific support and clinical activities to aid in the lab's operations.
• Prepare and manage specimens with precision to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Collaborate with team members and provide assistance in laboratory operations as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Completion of a Histology Technician (HT) program accredited by NAACLS or equivalent clinical education.
• Alternatively, 1 year of experience in a Histology Laboratory.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in a Histology Laboratory.

Licensure/Certification:

• ASCP or equivalent certification required upon hire.
