Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Livermore, CA, specializing in Private Works projects. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience in estimating, with a focus on Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, and Underground Construction. HCSS estimating experience is required. The successful candidate will have a strong background in estimating and project management, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage estimates for Private Works projects, including water, sewer, storm drain, and underground construction
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
- Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to gather information and assess project requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, engineering, and operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards

Requirements:

- 10-20 years of experience in estimating, with a focus on Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, and Underground Construction
- HCSS estimating experience required
- Must have worked for a Contractor
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
