Job Description
International long-only fund seeks Global Equity Research Analyst to cover general sectors, mainly in the US and Europe. The asset manager focuses on high quality growth stocks in long-term, fundamental value-oriented investment. The position is located in New York City and a part of the global team located in different time zone. While the NY team covers the Western Hemisphere, the other office covers the rest.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct bottom-up research of equities on assigned industries
• Develop and present new investment ideas
• Monitor current investments to enhance risk-adjusted returns for the portfolio.
• Monitor the latest news on the underlining stocks in the portfolio and evaluate the impacts on the stocks.
• Build and maintain complete company models, create income statement, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts and perform valuation analysis.
• Conduct on-site company visits and conference calls and meet the company managements frequently.
• Maintain good and frequent communication with the portfolio managers on industries and stocks in their portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic track record, MBA, CFA a Plus.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong work ethics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg
• Strong team orientation
• 10+ Years of experience in Equity investment research at long-only funds. Senior/mature candidates are welcome.
• Industrial/Material/Consumer staple sector analyst experience is preferable, but not must
• Working knowledge of accounting, finance, and valuation
• Ability to multi-task and work with numerous teams
