Job Description As a Freight Broker, you will play a vital role in connecting shippers with carriers, ensuring seamless transportation of goods across the country. With your expertise in the industry, you'll navigate the logistics landscape like a true mastermind, creating efficient transportation solutions while never missing a beat... Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with shippers and carriers, becoming a trusted partner in their freight transport needs.
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with carriers to ensure maximum value and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage the entire freight cycle, from initial pickup to final delivery, while providing excellent customer service along the way.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
  • Leverage your industry knowledge and network to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's reach.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Collaborate with customers and carriers to develop tailored transportation solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology platforms to track shipments, analyze data, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, applying this knowledge to enhance service quality and compliance.
  • Generate and maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring seamless flow of information.
Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in freight brokerage or a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, allowing you to build strong relationships and secure favorable rates.
  • Proficiency in utilizing industry-specific software and technology platforms.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, enabling you to juggle multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
