Our client, a leader in precision measurement and manufacturing support, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer - Chicago to join their dynamic team. Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Chicago Location: Chicago, IL Pay Range: $31-$33/HR What's the Job? Install and service a variety of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), machine tools, and accessories at customer sites. Perform diagnosis, repairs, certifications, and re-calibration of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Respond promptly to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems efficiently. Provide technical support and guidance to other service representatives and customers. Complete service and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. What's Needed? Associates Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of technical courses and hands-on experience. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs comfortably and safely. Mechanical, electrical, computer, and software troubleshooting skills. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
