Job description: Executive Assistant for Tech Startup

$85,000-$105,000 + benefits

Santa Monica, onsite

Our client, a fully funded tech startup, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys being a key support partner to leadership. The ideal candidate is energized by problem-solving, ensuring smooth operations, and being the go-to person. This is a great opportunity with lots of potential to grow with an amazing and collaborative environment!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to executive leadership and operations team
  • Own calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel planning
  • Prepare agendas, track action items, and ensure follow-ups are completed across key meetings
  • Support recruiting logistics, including job postings, candidate scheduling, interview coordination, and visit planning
  • Manage confidential documentation related to HR, legal, compliance, and operations
  • Coordinate contract workflows, handle document execution via DocuSign, and track compliance items
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors
  • Support onboarding, team culture activities, and internal communications

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in executive support or administration
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in drafting professional correspondence and organizing team updates
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
