Job Description

A full-time ESL Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Bethlehem, PA, serving K-12 students. This contract role is designed for the entire school year and focuses on delivering high-quality English as a Second Language instruction to support diverse learners.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing engaging ESL curriculum tailored to varied proficiency levels.
• Assessing student language skills and tracking progress to inform instruction.
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate language acquisition strategies.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student confidence and academic growth.
• Communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid ESL teaching certification or endorsement.
• Experience teaching ESL students across K-12 grade levels.
• Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories and ESL instructional methodologies.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs.
