ERM Senior Project Manager
Andrew Morgan Consulting, LLC (AMC) is a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone-certified organization. We are seeking a qualified ERM Senior Project Manager to support a potential contract award with Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Office of Financial Management (OFM) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Services. This role is contingent upon contract award and will play a critical part in our efforts to deliver exceptional results for this opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ERM Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of complex enterprise risk management (ERM) projects for large federal agencies. This role ensures project objectives are met by applying risk management principles, project management methodologies, and federal compliance frameworks. The ERM Senior Project Manager works closely with agency stakeholders to integrate ERM practices into organizational operations, improve risk-based decision-making, and support enterprise-wide risk mitigation efforts.
Responsibilities include: - Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ERM projects for large federal agencies, ensuring alignment with agency goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure successful project execution.
- Facilitate risk assessments, stakeholder workshops, and agency-wide risk management initiatives.
- Coordinate with federal agency executives, program managers, and other stakeholders to integrate ERM into agency policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and analyze enterprise risks, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.
- Ensure ERM activities align with federal risk management frameworks, such as OMB Circular A-123, GAO Risk Management Framework, and NIST guidelines.
- Develop risk dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership to enhance risk visibility and tracking.
- Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring timely communication, collaboration, and risk-informed decision-making.
- Support change management efforts by promoting ERM awareness and building a culture of proactive risk management.
- Monitor regulatory changes and emerging risks, adjusting project strategies as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex ERM projects for large federal agencies.
- Proven ability to lead risk management initiatives and integrate ERM into federal agency operations.
- Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) or equivalent certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)).
- Strong understanding of federal ERM policies, regulations, and frameworks, including OMB, GAO, and NIST guidance.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and communicating risk-related insights to federal executives and leadership teams.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, reporting tools, and ERM software solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in governance, risk, and compliance (e.g., Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)).
- Experience facilitating ERM training programs and workshops for federal agencies.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools to enhance ERM reporting and decision-making.
SALARY:
Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.
