Description Seeking a highly skilled Epic OpTime & Anesthesia Analyst with strong experience in ambulatory/dental care settings. This role will be instrumental in building, supporting, optimizing, and enhancing the Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules, integrating them seamlessly with ambulatory workflows to improve patient care and clinical efficiency. The ideal candidate is an expert in Epic OpTime and Anesthesia, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across IT, clinical, and administrative teams, driving solutions that meet diverse user needs in both ambulatory and surgical environments. Key Responsibilities: Configure, maintain, and support Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules, ensuring efficient workflows, system stability, and alignment with ambulatory and surgical requirements. Partner with clinical leaders and end-users to assess needs, gather requirements, and develop scalable solutions for ambulatory surgery and anesthesia workflows. Lead and contribute to project initiatives, such as new Epic functionality, version upgrades, system integrations, and ambulatory optimization efforts. Plan, coordinate, and implement system changes and updates, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users and operational processes. Work with clinical and operational teams to design and enhance workflows in ambulatory surgery centers and anesthesia departments, ensuring Epic is optimized for provider, nurse, and staff usage. Analyze current-state processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best-practice workflows and system configurations. Provide training and guidance to end-users, super users, and support staff on system enhancements, new features, and best practices. Serve as a tier-3 support resource, troubleshooting complex issues and coordinating with Epic and IT teams for prompt resolution. Assist leadership with data-driven insights for decision-making and operational improvements. Collaborate with other Epic analysts, application teams, and IT infrastructure specialists to ensure integration with related modules (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Cadence). Act as a liaison between clinical users and the IT team, ensuring Epic configurations align with clinical goals, compliance requirements, and quality standards. Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical information to clinical stakeholders and vice versa. Strong analytical abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to designing and improving clinical workflows. Certifications: Current Epic OpTime and Anesthesia certifications required; EpicCare Ambulatory certification is a plus. Additional certifications in relevant Epic modules are advantageous.
