Sodexo is seeking a Environmental Services Operations Manager for Community Medical Center, in Toms River, NJ. This is a 617 bed acute care hospital with 45 client paid staff. A vibrant waterfront community, Toms River offers a wide variety of recreational activities and is 1.5 hours from Philadelphia. This custodial manager will oversee a Split Shift schedule (11:00am start time) and as business needs dictate, some weekends and holidays may be required. We're looking for someone with a hospitality mindset; with strong customer and employee engagement experience  that comes from a healthcare, hotels, or corporate housekeeping background.   This location is a SodexoMagic account and this role will report directly into the GM on-site.

What You'll Do:
  • be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
  • lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
  • effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or
  • support an inclusive workforce.

What You Bring:
  • have experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team;
  • have customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare or hospitality;
  • possess strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program;
  • have experience effectively managing floor care projects within agreed upon timelines;
  • are results and safety driven;
  • are proficient with computers and other technology.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
