We are seeking a highly skilled Foreman to join our dynamic team in the Construction Industry. This exciting opportunity is best suited for a seasoned professional with a vast understanding of electrical systems and construction procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical installations and maintenance, ensuring that all electrical work meets the highest safety and quality standards. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of electricians, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage all electrical installations and maintenance in various construction projects.
2. Supervise and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance and support as needed.
3. Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
4. Coordinate with project managers and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Develop and implement effective strategies for improving operational efficiency and productivity.
6. Carry out inspections and tests to verify the functionality of electrical systems.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
8. Provide technical assistance and advice to the team as needed.
9. Conduct training sessions for electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
10. Prepare and present progress reports to upper management.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Foreman, Electrician, or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Valid Journeyman license preferred.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role.
4. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety regulations, and quality standards.
5. Proficient in using electrical and hand tools, as well as electrical drawings and blueprints.
6. Exceptional leadership and management skills.
7. Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
