Position Summary: The Director of Construction and Development will oversee all construction and development activities for TKC Construction Group and TLD. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of multifamily and commercial construction, who can manage complex projects, drive growth, and ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:

    • Lead and manage the construction and development teams for both TKC Construction Group and TLD.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the teams.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Project Management:

    • Oversee all phases of construction and development projects, from inception to completion.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Manage relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Financial Oversight:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
    • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to the executive leadership team.
  • Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders.
    • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
    • Implement best practices in construction and development to achieve uncompromised excellence.
    • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Innovation and Sustainability:

    • Promote the use of innovative construction techniques and sustainable practices.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies and methods into projects.
    • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance environmental performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and development, with a focus on multifamily and commercial projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
