Part-time teaching position to instruct lower and/or upper division day and/or evening music courses and individual applied music lessons to a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students that cannot be staffed by regular faculty or graduate teaching assistants.
Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, though a year long appointment can be made contingent upon student enrollment and availability of funding. Can include musical instruction to majors and non-majors in flute, piano, saxophone, voice, trombone, trumpet, violin, oboe, viola, cello, guitar, harp, bass, clarinet, percussion, applied jazz, etc. Dependent upon needs of the department during a particular semester. QualificationsEssential qualifications for this position at the Instructor level include:
Pay Range: $43,589 - $58,119; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment Category: 75%-100% Appointment (If job description above does not specify appointment or expected weekly hours, assume a 100% appointment.)
