Job Description Allied Universal is seeking Custom Protection Officers for a Corporate Financial Headquarters located in Lower Manhattan. Positions Are: Full Time Workdays Available: Candidates should be flexible Monday - Sunday Work Shifts Available: Mornings/Afternoons and Afternoon/Evenings Pay Rate: $27 - $28 / hour As a Custom Protection Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. Responsibilities: Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle. Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards. Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
