Requisition #: 73549 The Role at a Glance As a Training Consultant, you will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects. You will also act as a resource to applicable internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will develop, implement, and evaluate more complex training plans and programs to ensure organizational readiness for Underwriting. This role is a key contributor to the Group Protection Underwriting Planning, Analysis & Operations Training team which supports Underwriting and Underwriting Support. What you'll be doing + Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions. + Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives. + Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects. + Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality. + Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects within Underwriting. + Develops, implements, and evaluates more complex training plans and programs to meet departmental training objectives. + Develops more complex training materials, procedures, manuals and/or visual aids to meet objectives. + Develops and conducts more complex training needs assessments and determines training requirements for new program development. + Conducts training and ongoing training evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommends more complex training modifications as necessary. + Serves as a trusted training resource and ensures training materials, procedures plans and/or programs reflect business needs and support organizational readiness. + Proactively collaborates and communicates with internal/external stakeholders to address training gaps to support organizational performance. + May serve as a mentor and share knowledge with junior and peer team members. + Manages, conducts and/or participates in training projects. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
