Construction Worker

We are currently looking for a general laborer that will be moving furniture and material out of damaged buildings. This role requires strong experience in laboring as well as a personal vehicle to get to job sites. This role will require heavy lifting and working in areas where there has been damage from fire, water, and mold. The starting pay rate will be between $20 - $23 an hour. Mon-Fri, 40 hours+ a week. This position is a 6 month contract to hire out of the Norwood, MA area. This role will revolve around moving material out of homes and buildings working on a smaller team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Document work performed as required by company standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in construction, restoration, or related field is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in varying conditions (heat, cold, confined spaces).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
