Summary of Role
The Construction Sales Representative will be responsible for partnering with the sales team, and managing the installation and new construction of loading docks and commercial door equipment. In addition, he or she will help generate new business opportunities, and meet sales goals by leveraging existing relationships, prospecting, and assisting the Account Executive as needed. The core responsibilities of this position involve ownership of project management from development, customer engagement, to production. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing various sized construction projects. He or she must be able to demonstrate a technical understanding of various processes and an understanding of a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve the technologies with quality, cost, and delivery all considered.

The work is performed in various locations, including warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, refineries, and hospital settings. Employees may occasionally work with co-workers’ side-by-side with a moderate level of activity being performed. Exposure to inclement weather and high voltage AC/DC power is very common in many work environments. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
