We work to assist our clients to gain independence. This is an entry‑level position assisting adults with disabilities in the community. Responsibilities Helping people learn basic skills such as cooking, budgeting, and household chores (cleaning charts, grocery shopping). Assisting people in accessing educational or recreational opportunities in the community (movies, museums, live shows, sporting events, karaoke, physical fitness). Connecting people to community resources such as medical care, housing or transportation. Providing support during evenings and weekends as hours vary. Operating a company car to travel to client sites. Pay: $18–$19 per hour. Required Experience Associate's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Special Education, or a closely related field; direct work experience may be substituted for educational requirements. Experience working with individuals with neurological impairments and/or developmental disabilities. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Computer literacy. Must own a car.
