Community Healthcare Engagement Project Management Consultant

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Community Engagement Consultant to drive innovative community engagement initiatives that promote health equity and clinical excellence. This role will manage logistical operations, foster strategic partnerships, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and lead engagement activities across diverse populations. A strong background in pharmacy, clinical programs, and community health—especially within underrepresented communities—is crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all logistical aspects of community engagement operations, ensuring seamless, compliant execution of initiatives.
  • Serve as a critical cross-functional link within Clinical Central Services and Investigator Engagement teams.
  • Maintain and nurture external relationships with community organizations, healthcare professionals (HCPs), non-profits, and academic centers across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, scheduling, and project management skills to coordinate complex, multi-faceted engagement efforts.
  • Understand and honor the cultural contexts, needs, and values of the communities served; communicate in a culturally sensitive and respectful manner.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on community engagement KPIs; create visualizations, generate insights, and recommend content improvements.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and best practices for enhancing engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Drive operational excellence in health equity initiatives and daily engagement activities.
  • Conduct continuous market landscape assessments including competitor, collaborator, and regulatory trends.
  • Implement scalable community-based health programs, including clinical program initiatives to address health disparities.
  • Deliver high-quality project readouts, status updates, and strategic recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Education: PharmD preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, pharmacy, clinical program development, or related fields.
  • Significant experience in specialty pharmacy and community pharmacy settings preferred.
  • Proven expertise working with underrepresented populations (SVI and DI).
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale community engagement operations.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools, accelerated timelines, and multitasking in dynamic environments.
  • Strong skills in KPI monitoring, data reporting, visualization, and market research methodologies.
  • Experience developing clinical programs addressing health disparities and building community healthcare worker initiatives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory considerations in community health engagement.
