The financial advising company Columbia Financial Advisors offers its customers a variety of internal service options. Through investment, financial, retirement, estate, and tax planning that is tailored to each client's unique financial requirements, we provide an organized approach to wealth management. We use internal solutions and wise strategic counsel to address business issues. 

We are looking for a Client Management Consultant to maintain and service wealth client relationships by collaborating with one to multiple financial advisors. Through experience and/or formal training, the Client Management Consultant possesses specialized knowledge and skills that help Financial Advisors provide exceptional client service to families and individual investors. Additionally, with a great deal of interaction with financial advisors, internal business partners, and operational teams at different custodians, the candidate suggests solutions to moderately complex problems. Some examples of primary responsibilities are as follows. 

Tasks you will be required to perform:

 
• Evaluate client companies to find areas for development and enhancement.
• Create and put into action plans to enhance organizational structure, financial performance, and business processes.
• Provide clients with reports and presentations that clearly and succinctly convey findings and suggestions.
• Work together with cross-functional teams and other consultants to create and improve best practices and methodologies.
• Establish and preserve connections with clients by acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
• Assist with business development initiatives by seeking out and seizing new client prospects and participating in pitching and proposal development.

Requirements:

In order to sell in-house solutions, you will offer business consulting to clients as a Client Management Consultant. In your capacity as a marketing consultant, you will develop sales and marketing plans to assist them in expanding and retaining their clientele. You'll be dedicated to educating them about the company's products and their advantages, offering a value-added solution that best fits their business needs, and assisting them in reaching their objectives as a result of your strategic focus on gaining new clients. 

Your duties will include:

• Use networking, prospecting, cold calling, and client meetings to find and acquire new clients in order to meet goals.
• To find and connect with prospects and convert them to current clients, make use of the company's sales methodology, tools, and systems.
• Building enduring relationships with your assigned portfolio of clients requires proactive and responsible management working closely with our services team after the sale to deliver high-quality client relationships and experiences.
• Create and manage a CRM opportunity pipeline.
• Create proposals for clients that include situational analysis and suggestions.
• Address customer inquiries regarding any post-purchase concerns pertaining to the goods and services acquired, handling these inquiries until they are resolved in close coordination with the services team when necessary.
• Create high-quality client briefs to help the services team better set up campaigns for go-live and new client onboarding.
• Continue to cultivate strategic relationships with your clients by working with the Services team to identify and recommend possible cross-selling and/or up-selling opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed:

• To succeed in this position, you must have demonstrated expertise in lead generation and new business development as well as end-to-end sales. Although it is not required, it is ideal if you have prior experience working in marketing or business consulting.
• It helps to have prior experience managing or owning a business.

Additional requirements:

• At least five years of demonstrated experience operating and expanding a business.
• Proven track record of client satisfaction.
• BA/Bsc Degree in related field.
• Needs to be self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
• Prior experience as a management consultant, as well as experience as a business coach and mentor.
• A strong background in sales and sales management is advantageous.
• Must have a strong business sense and a hunger for sales.
• More experienced applicants with pertinent backgrounds.
• The ability to lead others.
• A problem-solver.
