Key Responsibilities:

Citrix ELM & App Layering: Design, configure, and maintain Citrix Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM) for OS and application layering.
Virtualization & VDI Management: Build and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) environments, ensuring high availability.
Application Deployment: Implement and manage Elastic Layering and user personalization strategies.
Infrastructure Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform system upgrades, including Citrix StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, VDAs, and NetScaler.
Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex Citrix-related issues to maintain optimal performance.
Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of provisioning and patching.
Security & Compliance: Enforce Citrix security best practices and ensure compliance with enterprise policies.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize Citrix Director, Citrix Studio, and other tools to optimize system performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cloud, networking, and storage teams to integrate Citrix solutions with on-prem and cloud platforms.

Required Skills & Technologies:

Citrix Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM) – Strong hands-on experience with OS & App Layering
Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD) – XenApp & XenDesktop 7.x (LTSR preferred)
Citrix Profile Management – User Profile Management (UPM) and Personalization
NetScaler ADC (VPX/MPX) – Configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting
Provisioning & Image Management – Machine Creation Services (MCS) & Provisioning Services (PVS)
Hypervisor & Cloud Platforms – VMware vSphere, Citrix Hypervisor, Azure, AWS integration
Windows Server Administration – Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
Automation & Scripting – PowerShell scripting for Citrix automation
Monitoring & Performance Optimization – Citrix Director, Citrix Studio, Splunk, or other monitoring tools
Troubleshooting Expertise – Strong problem-solving skills with experience handling complex Citrix environments

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
8+ years of hands-on Citrix engineering experience, with strong expertise in Citrix ELM & App Layering
Citrix certifications (CCA-V, CCP-V, or CCE-V) preferred
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
