Rocky Mount State Historic Site is seeking a friendly, reliable, and patient individual to assist in our  Christmas Village during our  Candlelight Colonial Christmas event. This temporary position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a welcoming atmosphere for families.

Role : Christmas Village Helper

Dates : December 6, 7, 13, and 14 (4 nights total)

Hours : 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Location : Rocky Mount State Historic Site, Piney Flats, TN

Responsibilities :

• Assist at the craft table, helping children with holiday-themed crafts.

• Serve refreshments such as drinks and snacks.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests.

• Provide general assistance to families and visitors, ensuring they have a wonderful experience.

Requirements :

• Must enjoy working with children and have a patient, friendly demeanor.

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy, festive setting.

• Dependable and available for all four nights.

Compensation :

• Competitive hourly wage (details provided during the interview).
