About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to the President and CEO. This critical leadership role involves managing a team of professional staff, advising the CEO on a wide range of matters, and facilitating communication and engagement with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of briefing materials, and CEO follow-up on meetings, and will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships both within the organization and with external partners. Key competencies include past experience as a Special Advisor or Chief of Staff, high emotional intelligence, and a strong passion for conservation and sustainability. The role also requires the ability to manage complex initiatives, problem-solve effectively, and anticipate and address emerging issues. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 10 to 12+ years in project and team management. The ideal candidate will have a background in global conservation, be energetic, and possess a strong bias for action. Skills and abilities include excellent communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work with a Principal. The role demands a professional with the ability to delegate, hold others accountable, and a commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion.
