About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff to join its Executive Office. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner and thought leader, capable of leading special projects and initiatives, and will serve as the chief advisor to the Commissioner. This role requires a highly organized and innovative individual with strong communication, policy analysis, program management, and relationship management skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, identifying and addressing issues for the Executive Office, drafting various documents, preparing meeting materials, and providing regular project updates. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in project planning, serving as a liaison with external stakeholders, and collaborating with the senior leadership team to prioritize agency strategies. The ideal candidate for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Master's and/or Bachelor's degree in urban planning or a related field, with a proven record of managing complex, interdisciplinary projects. Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, are essential, as is the ability to think creatively and embrace innovative solutions. The role demands exceptional written and verbal communication, strong presentation abilities, and excellent organizational and customer service skills. The Chief of Staff will be expected to interface with executive-level management, provide senior-level presentations, and have the judgment to involve subject matter specialists when necessary. The position is pivotal in representing the Commission on a broad range of topics and requires a candidate who can quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations.
