Position Summary Austin Peay State University’s (APSU) Southeastern Grasslands Institute (SGI) invites applications for the SGI Chief Conservation Officer (CCO) position. This is a full-time, non-tenure track role. The CCO will lead all of SGI’s science and conservation programs across a 24-state region, overseeing strategic planning, providing management and technical support, cultivating partnerships, and influencing conservation policy. Responsibilities include fundraising through philanthropy and grants, extensive travel, research publication, and promoting grassland conservation through public speaking and communications.
