The Arlington Central School District is currently hiring Bus Monitors for the 2024/2025 school year. This role involves supervising and caring for school-age children, maintaining order and discipline on school vehicles. Typical responsibilities include: Maintaining order on and around school buses; Intervening in confrontations and student fights when necessary, attempting to calm students; Escorting students to and from special appointments; Monitoring students in parking lots and supervising bus loading; Assisting in rendering first aid in emergencies; Informing superiors of observations regarding student behavior; Performing related duties as required.
