Gig Harbor Boat Works is looking for a hands-on Boat Builder I to join our team. Whether you have previous boatbuilding experience or transferable skills from woodworking, manufacturing, or other trades, this is your chance to work on high-quality, handcrafted fiberglass boats in a collaborative shop environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Assemble small craft boats from start to finish — hardware, trim, rigging, and more.
• Learn fiberglass and composite boatbuilding techniques.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete each build to our quality standards.
• Work alongside experienced builders who will help you grow your skills.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or boatbuilding is great — but we’ll train the right candidate.
• Comfort using tools and working with your hands.
• Attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
