Job Description
We are seeking a Board Certified Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist for the Tibor Rubin VAMC in Long Beach, CA, to provide on-site radiation oncology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced radiation treatment modalities in accordance with ACR criteria.
- Participate in peer review conferences regarding treatment decisions and goals.
- Oversee all physics and dosimetry operations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics.
- Minimum five years post-board experience and three years in an ACR or APEx certified healthcare system.
- Experience with Varian Linear Accelerators, IGRT, Eclipse treatment planning, and IMRT QA.
Benefits:
- W2 pay packages with benefits or 1099 pay option.
- Pay rate: $185/hr.
