We value diverse backgrounds, ideas, and experiences—and we celebrate the differences that make us stronger. Join Team Agiliti and grow your career while helping support quality patient care.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET III) to provide advanced technical support on high‑end medical equipment for customers in the area. In this senior role, you will not only perform complex maintenance and repairs, but also serve as a mentor and resource to junior technicians. Your expertise will help drive equipment reliability, clinical safety, and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform advanced inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair on a broad range of medical devices, with specialization in high‑end or complex systems.
  • Conduct operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs both onsite and at customer locations.
  • Complete documentation, service reports, and data entry accurately and promptly to support regulatory and billing requirements.
  • Partner with clinical staff to explain equipment functionality, features, and operational best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and coaching to junior technicians and other team members.
  • Support service programs, contract requirements, and quality management initiatives.

What’s In It for You

  • An opportunity to make a real difference in patient care.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Tuition reimbursement to support your professional growth.
  • 401(k) with up to 3% company match.
  • DailyPay option—access earnings when you need them.

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, biomedical technology, or equivalent military training—or CBET certification.
  • Expert-level knowledge in one or more specialized equipment categories (e.g., anesthesia, imaging, networked medical devices, respiratory, sterilization equipment).
  • Strong competency in maintaining and repairing a wide range of general biomedical equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common computer systems.
  • Ability to train and mentor other technicians, and occasionally supervise team members.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and off-hours as required to support a 24/7 environment.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for business needs.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs and perform frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing.
