ESCO, represents consumer package goods (CPG) and EURPAC STRATEGIC PARTNERS (ESP), focusing on the Adult Beverage industry, providing strategic insight and capabilities to our beverage clients is seeking a part time Base Manager at Cleveland, Ohio.

The Area Manager (AM) will determine which responsibilities by facility the Base Manager is to be focused on. Base Manager responsibilities can include any of the following…

SCOPE:

Exchange locations on a specific military base or bases in the United States as defined by Area Manager

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete daily tasks as assigned at Exchange locations. BM responsibilities can include but are not limited to any of the following tasks:

Call on Exchange locations and complete tasks as assigned:

• Maintain proper call frequency
• Sell and ensure proper shelf placement for all authorized items utilizing tools provided
• Fill store shelves w/back-stock if opportunities exist
• Secure display activity and build displays as needed
• Scan store for missing items via hand-held device and obtain missing distribution
• Conduct inventory checks and write orders for all VON related items
• Meet with each store manager as scheduled by AM
• Responsible for shelf Management

Facings – Resets – Communicate Auto Replenish issues – Pricing – Coupons – POG Compliance

• Check code dates and proper rotation
• Write up/Return ‘out of dates’ as outlined in specific Manufacturers policies
• Timely communication to AM utilizing the ‘best practice’ method outlined by AM
• Sell promotions as outlined in Convenience Package and as directed by AM and report results to AM
  • Build displays as required
• Place Point of Sale as directed
• Report low or out of stock issues to Facility Manager
• Complete Call reporting procedures technology while in store
• Other projects/requests as requested or assigned by management

Demonstrations:

• Complete in-store retail package goods demonstrations, including but not limited to Alcoholic beverages
• Understand the brands represented and deliver their message as specified
• Individuals will need to distribute, engage, educate, and survey retail consumers and promote brands in a professional manner
• You will be responsible for the full set up, break down and follow through from the demo

The right person for this role will demonstrate an engaging personality and show excitement for the brand. Brand Ambassador’s will need to show their comprehension of brand information and their ability to sell accordingly. It will be essential for candidates to work independently, maintain their schedule and manage their time. This position will require flexibility in schedule in accordance with the Exchange and Express stores demo needs. ALL candidates MUST be 21 or older.

Explanation of lifting, temperature restraints, and other working conditions:

• Build, install and move (with additional assistance) various racks weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Build displays with up to 40lb case weight
• Freezer work at 0&degree;F
• Occasional outside case lot sales and weekend special events

Pay rate is $14-$15 per hour and 12 hours per week. Base Manager must be available during store hours. A background in grocery and/or retail extremely helpful.

It will be necessary to have access to a computer, printer, and smart phone, and download information from websites.

Existing military base access strongly preferred. To perform the essential functions of this position you will need military base access. Such access is granted by the military not Eurpac.
