Barista/Cashier/Assistant manager – Full Time
Stone Street Cafe, Southold
Stone Street Cafe is looking for a full-time barista, cashier and/or assistant manager to join our Southold team. No prior barista experience is required — what matters most is attitude, reliability, and a real interest in hospitality.
About the role
As a barista at Stone Street Cafe, you are the face of the business . You’ll be responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and consistent service. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in doing things well.
What you’ll do
Prepare coffee and espresso drinks to Stone Street standards (training provided)
Provide warm, efficient, and professional customer service
Handle rushes with focus and energy
Take orders accurately and manage payments
Keep the barista station clean, organized, and stocked
Work closely with the kitchen and team to keep service smooth
Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards
What we’re looking for
Full-time availability
No experience required — willingness to learn is essential
Strong sense of hospitality and customer service
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Positive attitude, dependable, and team-oriented
Good communication skills
Able to stay composed and efficient during busy periods
