What will you be doing?

• Set up Banquet room as instructed by Supervisor to include linen, service ware and glassware.
• Attend meetings before events to learn about the function, including guests and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve food and /or beverage in order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet event.
• Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and at the end of the meal or function.
• Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Reset banquet room according to Supervisor’s specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the fowling function.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room .
• Ability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
